We’re thrilled to invite the Awakening SI community to our series of gatherings for those interested in cultivating their spiritual intelligence. Through this practice, we’ll uncover, refine, and share the radiant light within each of our hearts.

Freedom

We all long for “the freedom to be ourselves,” but what does that actually mean? What does it actually feel like? Freedom from self-limiting beliefs, freedom to embody your potential, freedom to simply “be.”

You might think that your freedom is controlled by outside forces, but true freedom is an inside job. It means liberating ourselves from expectations and compulsions—external or internal. When we are free, we become the prime cause of our being. We feel guided by our divine spark—newly able to actualize our true nature.

As one spiritually intelligent leader shared, "When I experience inner freedom, I can see the playground before me. My play is really an expression of freedom. When there is little at stake, when I am not trying to protect myself, possibilities…are available for what wants to happen."

This isn't about not caring. Freedom, oddly enough, comes from wholehearted devotion paired with non-attachment to outcomes. When we are unburdened by fear, we can let ourselves be guided by our spirit to live our purpose. As Martin Buber said, “Freedom and destiny are solemnly promised to one another and linked together in meaning.”
